arr their is so much info out thier its overwhelming,lol but here is my issue,i habe vnc server installed on one of my home pc via wifi connected to my belkin wireless router/cable modem service through comcast.i have installed a app called android vnc..and locally i can view the pc,,but i have a dvr card/camera setup that want to be able to view outside of my localnetwork,thats where im lost,can some please explain how to do this? i get confused where it say address? locall i just put in 192.168.26 but outside of my local network im confused please help me thanks steve

You need to forward a port on your router directly to the local IP address of your DVR device/computer. From the rest of the Internet your local 192.168.x.x addresses are invisible -- they can see ONLY the public "WAN" address of your modem/router.

I suggest you pick a non-standard port (the VNC default is 5900). You're forwarding any incoming connections to (your public IP address:portnumber) on to 192.168.x.x (your device's local network IP address).
