UltraVNC is extremely laggy. Getting 1 Frame per 20 seconds

I have used Ultra VNC for a while and it has always worked well. I recently set my grandmas Dell to factory setting using the Dell reset feature. I installed UltraVNC 1.0.2. When i try to view her computer i log in and i can only get 1 frame per 20 seconds. I know its 1 per 20 seconds because she has an online radio that is on and i can see what the second is at.

I have tried it on different speeds i.e. Slow <19Kbits, Modem 19-128 etc. and the same problem persists.

I honestly have no clue what the problem is. Any help brainstorming and troubleshooting the problem would be great.

i think she have windows vista or windows 7, right ?
uninstall ultravnc 1.0.2 NOT optimized for Operating System above.
reboot... delete ultravnc folder
clean the registry of ultravnc

reboot.
install ultravnc 1.0.9.5 release

yes she has vista. i will do what you said and report back with the findings
