Some help with issues please..

Post by V9977 »

Hi,
New member here with a couple of issues on 1.0.8.2.

1) The XP machine running the server failed to boot-up functionaly after
it was shut-down with a viewer still connected (also running on XP).
Had to be switch-shut-down, then restarted OK.

2) When skype application is used, only the local camera mini picture is
displayed on the viewer, not the large video received.

Otherwise, pretty good performance overall.
Server is running as a service, with mirror driver installed and functional,
and no hook.dll checked. Low accuracy is enabled and ports 5900, 5800 are
forwarded on the router.

Many thanks for your help.

Thank you redge, I'll try doing this and see if it addresses these issues
and report back. Will it be OK to use the update only rather than start from scratch?
Also, does the service have to be stopped and/or uninstalled for the update to be succesful on the server side?
