Sorry for bothering you again, the issue is still there
Some day ago deleting the vncviewer default did the trick... but today vnc viewer is hanging again. Same file, same folder, same pc, same command line parameters, same plugin...

I'm not able to understand what's not working.
Probably there is something on my PC that sometime make the vncviewer hang.

Is there something I could check? If this can help, I'm a software developer.
Try to sniff network traffic using wireshark could be of some use?
Is there a simple way to run vncviewer in debug and understand where is the issue? I have VS 2003, VS 2008, and VS 2010 installed on my pc.
I'm note very expert about c/c++, I used it only at the university, 10 years ago. Today I'm mainly a .Net developer.

I've enabled server and viewer log in my command line batch, the next time it will hang I'll check the log.

work around (this work for my case)

I use dynamic key (no viewer and no server key)
Enabled Ciphers: ARC4
Enabled Key lengths: 128-bit
Passphrase: (nothing, empty)

viewer crash with codec tight and pressing Toggle remote input and show to server and viewer the background picture !!!!
This not happen without encryption, the background.bmp is show only at server side as awaited result

Technical reason:
Tha background image use layered windows, background is alpha-blended and you capture the non alpha-blended layer. With aero
there exist only one layer ( that's the reason you don't need to check
capture alpha-blening with aero and win7)
