SC File Transfer Disable help

Hello all...

I'm here to ask help from you all. Work in a company that has private data that can not be transferred to customers.

I really need help to disable file transfer in vnc sc. It can be any idea to block the file transfer. This is urgent please help.

First of all, no one here is paid to help you so getting upset won't get you anywhere as this is a casual forum.

There isn't a way to disable file transfer AFAIK.

yes, possible, but require winvnc not the winvnc lite of SC :-)
if you use scprompt or chunkvnc, you can modify as below:

ultravnc.ini
FileTransferEnabled=0
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

But WinVNC server is freeware?

Yes, both UltraVNC and UltraVNC SC are mostly open source, "free", and free of charge. Redge just meant that SC was by design a stripped down version of UltraVNC, not that there was a better paid version.

Most VNC products (including TightVNC, RealVNC, and UltraVNC) have traditionally named their Windows VNC executable "winvnc.exe".
