Direct Draw 4

Post by kriehl »

I get a direct draw 4 init problem when I try to start my security software from a vnc connection and the video does not show up on the viewer or the server but the surrounding screen shows up.

If I start the software at the computer the video shows up only at the server still not the viewer

Any Help :(

Hardware acceleration is not supported.
Your application should be able to emulate it else vnc can not update that part of the screen.

Hardware acceleration bypass the GDI, vnc only can capture the GDI.

Is this something that will ever be supported? Are you saying there are paths around this on the server computer?
