slow connection and hanging on windows xp pro

Post by pati »

Hi!

First I want to thank the developers for a GREAT program :)

One small problem, though. I access three different machines (one win 2000 pro, one xp home, and one xp pro SP1) over the internet, all of them with 19.5 installed and the encryption plug-in (115) activated.

The two former computers work fine, but the xp pro is terribly slow. There is a lag around 1 sec for typing, and if I type several letters in a row, the computer hangs.

Being a newbie in the remote desktop world I would highly appreciate if somebody could give me an educated guess as to what the problem might be...

regards,
Patrick

Latency between you and the other computer? Are they using broadband or dialup? If they are using dialup their ISP could just be crappy.. meaning the latency is horrid...??

Thats my guess, not sure if its educated though.
