connecting via internet to a host
firewall
You have to turn on port forwarding on your router at home. Say your computer had an IP of 192.168.1.100. You would forward port 5800 and 5900 to your computer 192.168.1.100. Then you must find the Internet IP address of your router from one of the information screens (say it's 55.55.55.55) So at work go to any web browser and type in as a URL http://55.55.55.55:5800
Or go to vnc and connect to 55.55.55.55 with port 5900. Note that the password is encrypted but that is the only part that is encrypted without a plugin.

Re: firewall
The password has an encryption that lots of software auto crack also known as port sniffing programs. If you wanted the encryption to be harder use the DSM Plugin.anonymous5896 wrote:Note that the password is encrypted but that is the only part that is encrypted without a plugin.
I am assuming you are past this point and trying to get it set up per your other post.
