Revision: i letter bug on some software...

Post by burzek »

Hi,

I made revision to this post, because I thought the bug effects every software that uses keyboard but only a few software gets effected:

I have tested both 1.0.6.5, 1.0.8.0 and 1.0.8.2 today on 2 windows xp pc.
Both have English windows but Turkish keyboard layout.
I made tests with Japanese keyboards option on and off in uvnc admin properties.
In both selections, using putty or notepad++ , I have problem with the normal keyboard character "i".
When I press i, it behaves something else, does type i but as if I press alt or ctrl keys, you should see to understand...

This only happens when I connect the pc via ultravnc and use these 2 software remote via ultravnc. Using cmd.exe command prompt or normal windows notepad , there is NO bug or problem with Turkish keyboard or characters...

This is a very minor bug and not a big problem.
Will be glad if developer can check this problem.

Regards...
