1.0.8.2 screen refresh so slow on XP
1.0.8.2 screen refresh so slow on XP
I've installed previous versions of ultravnc with my XP machine and I used to have to download and install the video hook driver to make my screen react much more quickly to clicks and drags but I've recently downloaded the lastest stable version and installed it on my XP machine and noticed that it installs the hook driver automatically. I went to properties and check marked the box to enable it and it seems to be working and active but my screen still takes anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds sometimes to show a screen change. I'm using ultra vnc over a lan so it's not an internet issue. Does anyone have any thoughts? Is there an additional step that I'm missing to get this to run more efficiently? Thanks in advance!
