If I'm correct in my assumption of the data path, you have a few options.
The first step is figure out the Linksys' "internet" IP address (Linksys config -> Status -> Internet IP Address, not the one listed as local. Unless you use a different IP range locally, it should be something like 192.168.xxx.xxx). Then go into the 2Wire's configuration and see if you can setup a DMZ to the Linksys based on the Linksys' IP addy. From there, go into the Linksys config and forward port 5550 to your intended machine.

The second option will involve the use of upnp. While I don't have experience with SC and uPNP I'm under the impression that it's possible and in your case would probably make everything much easier for you in the long run.

Just curious, what do you use the Linksys router for? Connecting into work's hardware based VPN? Otherwise it seems like you're adding an unneeded complication to the mix that doesn't need to be there. Additionally, many hardware VPN solutions can be alternatively connected into using software emulation, so again that Linksys seems to be causing you unnecessary headaches...
