DSMPlugin Issue

Post by Joebartoo »

New to SC but have been trying to get it working for over a month.

Have got to point where I have made my .exe file and quite sure that is good. Believe port forwarding on router is setup correctly also.

When I am in listening mode I get dreaded message connection failed missing DSMPlugin and server uses a DSMPlugin? I have tried using and not using RC4.key when using the RC23 creator. Both give same error on my support/listening PC

Do not really understand DSMPlugin?

Been using a machine with XP pro UVNC 1.0.6.4 in listen mode. Now trying a 7 machine with 1.0.8.2 and seem to get an additional error saying Viewer and Server not compatiable they use different RFB protocols.

Just looking for easy conection to support remote PC's from home.

you must use rc4.key with msrc4plugin
you need to use same version of msrc4plugin.dsm and compatible with your winvnc/vncviewer.

if you don't want to use any static key,
you need to use securevncplugin.dsm and rename it to msrc4plugin.dsm and add it to package for replace the msrc4plugin.dsm

and vncviewer, you need to use securevncplugin.dsm with it.
