Problem with locked session

Hi all,

I try to deploy UltraVNC 1.0.8.2 on my company but i have a problem.

I want my users have to validate the remote connexion.
I set "Display Query" to yes and default action Refuse.
If no user are logged it's ok I can connect (it's that I want if no user is logged)
If session is open, user receive the popup and can validate.
But if session is locked, no popup appears, and it's not possible to connect.

If I set QueryIfNoLogon=1 in UltraVNC.ini file, the popup appears when session is locked, but popup appears also if no session is open, and like nobody is in front of the computer, the technician can't logon to work

Have you a solution ?

that indeed request, if user have locked is session, he don't want someone spy when he is not here. call him for activate it screen or request log off.

Yes but we can spy nothing. The session is locked
We can just do one thing, force to close the session with an administrator account

We have sometimes this problem with front office computer. User come back to home without log off, and at tomorrow morning next guy can't logon.
We have to use VNC for force logout

No problem if the popup appears, new user can accept, but it don't
For me locked session is like open session -> popup
If locked session is like closed session -> can connect without popup
But actually we don't have popup and we can't connect

welcome screen (FUS) NOT classic logon on workgroup

the query is available even the user had locked their session.
vncviewer connect to locked session and prompt for allow or reject.
then accepted, vncviewer can input password.
but this apply for logon too.

i have read bug report in parsing the ACL with "easy" fix of ACL script

Sorry i'm not sure to totally understand what you want to say

I have classic logon screen (send ctrl alt del) on my domain, and AD authentification (not vnc authent)
I use UltraVNC MSI creator to create an MSI with the good parameters

After installation, i look the .ini, and i have same parameters like you:
QuerySetting=4
QueryTimeout=10
QueryAccept=0
QueryIfNoLogon=1

But with this settings, i can connect when no user is logged, but not if the session is locked. No popup appears

For the version, it seem i have :
vncviewer 1.0.8.2 built 7 december 2009
but
winvnc 1.0.8.2 built 6 december 2009
It can be that ? It's the version on the download link

actually, is not possible with uvnc 1.0.8.2 <-- added this line

I really don't know is a bug or feature request needed.
only a developer can answer.

for me this two possibilities are better than today
