I just received an email saying that SoftPedia has added ChunkVNC to their list.
I'm not quite sure how to take this.... I guess it's a good thing to have more exposure but I'm not quite sure what to think about them.
What do you guys think?

They did give me the option to edit the page, I was hoping to only have one website to update....

Re: What do you guys think of SoftPedia?
Mostly a good thing I think.
They've earned a small amount of my trust over the years. They're in my second or third tier of trusted downloading locations.
Rightly or wrongly, I tend to trust SourceForge and Google Code projects first, then CNET/Download.com, and then places like Softpedia and TUCOWS (where I haven't visited in years and just checked to make sure they still operate).
Softpedia's "100% Clean, No Spyware, No Adware, No Viruses" badge always struck me as hokey and somewhat scammy looking, but I've learned that they mostly seem to mean it.
All in all, I think you should feel a bit honored that they came at you completely unsolicited to pick up ChunkVNC. (This also furthers my confidence in them, if they have actual humans looking for good software.)
As to the distribution tree, you could just add comments at "your" page on Softpedia telling users to check the official web page/repository/forum/whathaveyou for the latest version. I think a lot of authors do that.
On a related note, if they're offering to host for you, you might want to let them, since some people are more likely to trust Softpedia than your own web site. (Though again, I personally find a SourceForge hosted project more reputable.)
Congratulations.

Thanks for the info B, I'll change the download link to goto the homepage (or here) instead. I don't mind if people hotlink from my site, I just prefer if they have more clear access to the installation guide.

Re: What do you guys think of SoftPedia?
I agree on SoftPedia being a good source. I have never downloaded an infected file from them. If I have a choice, I usually choose them for my downloads. They have been reputable for as long as I remember.

I've found older revisions of software at softpedia before, and particularly for utils that have short lived websites this have proven to be a very valuable resource.
