Dual monitor support in 1.0.8.2? Video driver?

Post by jogz »

Our 1.0.8.2 single click build works fine (thanks community) but we don't have dual monitor support. Is there a new videohook driver we can put in our images?

One other thing (and I posted about this in the main forum), the connection will sometimes not refresh the screen for 30 seconds or longer and then resume working fine. It's really put a hamper on our connections. Now this could be something to do without network, I'm not really sure. The thing that puts doubt in my mind is that the file transfer aspect will still be alive and well.

Since these computers have the older video driver from the Windows image we use, I was thinking maybe that could be playing tricks on our refresh...

Any help is appreciated!

I'd found this earlier and just dropped in the winvnc.exe but I'm not sure I'm seeing how it affects single click. Maybe I'm missing the option entirely. I use the VNCViewer.exe for singleclick connectivity.

I have viewer 1.0.8.2. I think I completely uninstalled the old version and put this one on.

For my SC viewer shortcut, I'm using the following:

"%programfiles%\ultravnc\vncviewer.exe" -noauto -8greycolors -scale 4/5 -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin.dsm -listen 5901

Could something with this cause issues in 1.0.8.2?

Do these have any bearing on VNCViewer 1.0.8.2 or a singleclick session?

Without the use of any drivers, I see that I can switch between monitors but I'm unable to do a full span. Trying to switch monitors more than a couple times seems to kill the connection.

Hopefully I am not too off topic with my question...

Is there a way for UltraVNC to dial in to a specific monitor in a multimonitor setup?
