deploy new ultravnc.ini to windows 7 computers

Post by iepaul »

what is the best way to deploy new ultravnc.ini to windows 7 computers? I created a cmd file but I get access denied when copying and restarting the service.

copy \\server1\packages\realvnc\ultravnc.ini "c:\program files\ultravnc\ultravnc.ini"
net stop uvnc_service
net start uvnc_service
pause

You must elevate the batch file to administrator or it won't be able to modify the "Program Files" directory.

Either use an administrative account or right click on the file and choose "Run as administrator"
