doubt About Viewers Inputs

Post by dsktron »

Hi Everyone

I been using UltraVNC for a while, but recently I notice about some detail.

I use VNC for 2 things: Remote Tech support and watch the activity on my computers in view only mode.

This far everything is ok, but the detail I mencionate is that for example, The user have the caps lock turned on (LED on), if I connect with that machine (In View Only mode) and I don't use the caps lock, the remote machine turns off the caps lock, including de LED. Why turns off this LED even in View only Mode?.

In the Server I activate de option for "disable viewers inputs" but this way I can not bring the remote tech support because the server can't let me do anything.

This happend in all the Windows versions (I use the 1.0.8.2).

I'm open to Suggestions.

Thanks.

vncviewer "view only" Ctrl+Alt+F3 instead disable viewer input at server

so you can do both, tech support and view only

anyway, is a bug if caps lock led is disabled on viewer connect as viewonly
