Problem with screen size (VNCviewer)

Post by duffy »

Hello,

I have a problem, i am using UVNC 1.0.8.0 (before I had the same problem with 1.0.5.x).

I have UVNC server running on one machine. I can connect from another machine to it.

The problem is that the size of the displayed screen (VNC viewer - tested with several different viewers) is too small.

When viewing with UVNC viewer i have found workbound: change to fuzzy and than to normal screen.

But when I use some other viewer, i can't do that and the screen is ultra small so unusable.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or how to set-up server to have it displayed correctly?

Thanks in advance

What do you mean: Too small ?
Too small for what ?
You can change the scale of the window to 125% or 150% if that helps you !?

Did some test....

I think that he want to say is that the window forget to calculate the
scroll border size.

if (viewable size + scrollbar = actual size), the scrollbar should be
removed.

When I connect to my VNC server window looks like this:

Then when I switch to full screen I see this:

Then when I switch to fuzzy I see this:

And when I switch to normal it's finally ok (but works only for UVNC viewer):

It looks like server site scaling is on.
winvnc then scale the server down 800x600 -> 200x150

fuzzy
vncviewer scale the server up 200x150 -> 800x600
without fuzzy
viewer show server as 200x150, no upscaling.

delete saved settings (viewer option) and try with default value.
