Remote triangulation/server option?

Post by venom »

Hello,

I have been using UltraVNC and even created a small executable that I can send to users for them to reverse connect back to me. This has been great and very helpful.

However I have run into a snag that I am not sure how to rectify. I have a desktop at home and the reverse connection executable goes to that system, no issue. Often I am on the road, and this reverse connection cannot work since I cannot control the routers ports (at a Hotel) and point it back to me.

I have seen PCAnywhere Access Server, LogMeIn, and even ShowMyPC which seems to be a VNC derivative. Is there a way to setup a VNC server that would allow a triangulated connection where both the host and target connect there and the VNC server will relay the info back, thus making this a true connection option regardless of where I am?

Thank you!
