I noticed something the other day when support a remote user. I set to LISTEN for the connection and connected to them when they ran the support exe. So far so good.
Now connected, it took FOREVER for screens to come in! I then noticed that the # of colors was set to MAX - and I couldn't change it!
Do I have to create a new support.exe or is there something else I need to do to connect to users with only a 256 color screen?

The colors can be set on the viewer site.
Run vncviewer
goto options, select color and encoder
[v] save as default
press connect << needed to actual save it.
if you now run vncviewer -listen it use your presets.
