Can't get it to work online, it works on LAN

Hi everyone,

First I've tried in my LAN with two computers and it works, then i changed the ip in sc configuration file to my internet ip. I have forwarded the port 5500 in the router to my pc and I have checked with a tool, that its opened and the viewer responds. But with that IP it doesn't connect between the same computers.

What is wrong?

2 possibility:

1. your router won't support nat loopback (could be another name)
2. nat loopback is available but not enabled.

see your book of your router or tell us your router name exact model for tell you if your product support it or not.

like zyxel P642-R (this box support nat loopback but need manual activatiom

I dont know what is nat loopback but you gave me an idea.

I have a SMC 7908A, I added port 5500 in NAT>Special Applications and now it works.
