SC HELP!!!
SC HELP!!!
I recently learned of SC and created my own version with icons, etc. My personal computer is a laptop connected to a Linksys WRT54G router via wireless. I have tried many times and have been on every support forum out there to try to get it to work but I just can't. The thing is that it works on a computer on my network, but not on any outside computer. Windows firewall is disabled on my computer and i set up port forwarding for port 5500. Any help would be appreciated on getting this thing to connect to my computer. Thanks.
Re: SC HELP!!!
look at portforward.com and see if you have setup port forwarding correctly
the check ipchicken.com for your external ip, and make sure its the same as the one in the sc helpdesk.txt
if all this is good, then you need to check that the port responds to raw data, and failing that, run a packet sniffer on the network
