Suddenly Getting Errors Using UltraVNC Viewer.

Post by NeedHelp »

I am getting the folowing errors:

-You've forgotten to select a DSMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin

-The selected DSMPlugin is not compatible with the one running on the Server

-The selected DSMPlugin is not correctly configured (also possibly on the server)

-The password you've possibly entered is incorrect

First, I didn't forget to check the DSMPlugin box.

Second - They're the same DSMPlugin.

Third - how can the not be compatible if they're the same file from the same place? Especially when it was working fine for months!?

Last - It didn't even let me get to the password portion. I was simply given an error screen and was unable to log in.

How can I fix this? I've reinstalled everything over and over again.

I'm open for any ideas - I hope someone has come across this problem before.

I'll take a look at that UltraSam. However, I am unable to use keypal.exe (requires .net) On the other hand, the other suggestion is installing a 128 bit encryption from MS. Except it's for win2000 and both machines are xp pro - I'm not sure if that matters.

josephgreenberg - yeah, I deleted the dsm plugin on both machines.

Thanks to both of you!
