ultra vnc crash

I am tring to install VNC on a windows 2000 pro PC. But when a user trys to connect it crashes just after the user inputs username/password. I am using domain logins. This happens regardless of what michine is the client. Also after the failed login, the exe crashes and displays the generic ... exe has been terminated ....

I get this error in the event log ... not very helpful

The VNC Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action.

I have uninstalled and restarted pc

And then re installed same error

I have had this problem and to correct it I have installed (reinstalled) the display driver.

Just my two cents

I trashed the UltraVNC folder in the AppData folder in my user profile and tried going into UltraVNC again and the problem was kaput! Maybe try that?

what the version do you use of vnc ?
