Have you set the PC up to have a static private IP address? Has your public IP address changed at the location of the UltraVNC Server?

I have the SAME exact situation BUT we changed to a static ip address which means, yes the ip address has changed but am entering in the new IP address and it is not connecting.

Check that the port is still forwarded to the correct INTERNAL IP. If your PC is using DHCP the lease probably has expired and now has a different IP than the one you forwarded to.

Edit: nvm see you said it was a fixed IP above that. I'd still check if that is set and properly forwarded though.

You can also run the custom port test here:
http://www.whatsmyip.org/ports/
It will show if it is correctly forwarded, if you run the test with VNC running, VNC should throw up an error, which will show that it is set on the same port as well.

Thanks for your advice. I tried stopping the service and then restarting it and it is working now. (mine has the new static ip address).
