UltraVNC Server behind two Routers

Post by Spk2000ar »

Hi, i have a lan with this scenario:
192.168.1.10 ServerPC
192.168.1.20 ClientPC
192.168.1.1 Router1IP for Lan

Router1 connects to internet through another Router2, 192.168.10.1, with and static IP Adress 192.168.10.5.

Router2 connects to internet through and adsl modem.

This is, i had a net inside another net.

How can i reach UltraVNC Server running on 192.168.1.10 (ServerPC) over defaults port?

May be forwarding port 5900 in this way?
Router1: port 5900 udp/tcp 192.168.1.10
Router2: port 5900 udp/tcp 192.168.10.5??

Thanks to all!!!

i would suggest using openvpn to get into the inside network from the internet because that way you would solve encryption and routing problems in one stroke

there is something else that also you could do :

192.168.1.10 ServerPC
192.168.1.20 ClientPC
192.168.1.1 for Lan

forward 5900 port from ADSL Public ip address -> Router1IP -> forward 5900 from Router1IP to ServerPC.

Your solution sounds logical, but the enviroment changes!!! :)
My client is sharing a connection with his neighbour, but now, he decided (for my, his and for all fortune) to get his own internet connection.
So... problem resolved...
THANKS ANYWAY!!
