UtlraVNC SC http access

Post by lopeleteroxu »

Hi,

I'm new to UltraVNC, and I'm trying to make a configuration using UltraVNC SC, but I don't know if it is possible at all :-(

I want to use SC in a client to start it listening, but not to connect directly to a a vncviewer. What I need is that the client running sc starts listening, and after that, an operator will use the java http viewer to access it.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much and best regards.

Jandro.

No. UltraVNC SC is a cut down version of the WinVNC.exe server launches and automatically connects to a Listening VNC Viewer. It does not contain the java server.

Also, the main benefit of SC is that the end user doesn't need to poke holes in a firewall or install any software. You (the supporter) make the holes in your firewall and they initiate the connection to you.
