Let me rephrase,

Post by Glen »

I meant like company name. i.e. Do you want to install and run "http://asp.linktivity.com/launchers/setup.exe" signed on 11/10/2003 4:20pm and distributed by:

InstallShield Software Corporation. (Or Microsoft Corporation)

Microsoft as these kinds of waring screens pop up all the time and most people click yes to Always trust content from Microsoft corporation.

That is kinda what I was meaning. [/img]

What you want is to sign your exe with an Authenticode certificate. This is not an ActiveX thing.
