I have a W2K puter with sp4 and have had no problems. Are you running this as a service? Have you checked the event logs on that computer to see if there is something specific that is occuring?

+If you are using the driver check the version

RC11 driver + RC18 server -->crash

Driver can only be uninstalled with "setupdrv uninstall" and reboot on W2K, check manual the device manager if the driver is realy gone
