I am using 1.0.4 RC8 on Windows XP SP-2 and am having a problem with file transfers. When I initiate a file transfer of a large file, the the computer that initiated the file transfer becomes essentially useless during the entire duration of the file transfer. I I go into notepad or ms word and type characters, the characters are echoed at a very slow rate. The rate of character echo is so slow that it overflows the keyboard type-ahead buffer. Essentially, keyboard input is useless while the file transfer is occurring.
What could be causing this problem? File transfer only affects the keyboard input. Programs still respond quickly except that keyboard input is very slow.
Also, please note that I am using encryption and am using the plug-in MSRC4Plugin-122.dsm.
