Dos Apps Slow

Post by advlaser »

Believe it or not we still have a few legacy dos apps running. My problem is when I punch a few keystrokes they delay by as much as a 2-3 seconds, then appear all at once.

I'm on a t1 and windows apps run incredibly fast. I am running the dos app in a window, not text mode.

Is there anything i can do to optimize ultravnc for dos apps?

Running in a dos prompt windows box? ( i donno what text vs. non-text mode it)
Mine works real fast. So theres some issue then.
Just for kicks, try using the show only this window on the dos window. See if that makes it better. Also, random thought, make sure that the server computer isnt bogging down the dos window itself.
using latest code.... always... except when im not.
