Deplying UVNC 1.0.4 via Group Policy

Post by drewgraham »

Hey All,

2 Qs in one here; it's got to the stage where I need Vista support, so am going to have to roll out UVNC 1.0.4. First up, how stable is it, and would people that have gone down this road before recommend / not recommend this course?

Second, my network has grown quite a lot since the the 1.0.2 deployment, and I would like to do it via group policy. I'd need a custom DSM, custom options on install etc - is there some way of setting these via an installation command line, through re-packing the installer, or through group policy registry editing post-install?

Take a look at software that will help you create .MSI package so you can install it over GPO.
