what is exactly encrypted using a dsm plugin?

Post by cycicle »

I am using ultravnc 1.0.2 and the MSRC4 "no reg" dsm plugin version 1.2.2 (i guess) running off a jump drive I use for work. I am curious how much of the actual data transmission is encrypted?

I'm almost positive it encrypts my login credentials, but would people monitoring my network at work be able to tell im using vnc at all or would they just see it all as encrypted "garbage" ? ie from the IP/packet header from the initial connection or any part of the connection?
