Re: Connection failed
did you guys read the FAQ and the STEP BY STEPS??
They are most helpful in getting the program to work.. Everyones configuration and setup is different so it makes it had to troubleshoot at times..

Re: Connection failed
to be honest I didn't...I only disabled any firewall or anti-virus I have but haven't tried it yet. Time is something I lack, unfortunately. I just need someone to assist me 'live'. Any help would be appreciated, otherwise, i don' t have a taste for ironic remarks.
Re: Connection failed
yup my ports are open anyways it dosent bother me using ip as the problem only happens now and then it work then it dosent it will find the server then not find i think its just a programing bug as it work some times
Re: Connection failed
I see no one's eagger of helping me..I see..ok, maybe someone who can spare a few words can tell me why this software (I wonder why I still keep it) gives me this error when I start Windows (seems to be showing up everytime other programs on my computer initialize at start up). It became very annoying. Follow this link to see the image (sorry, I could not figure it out how to create a hyperlink here):

Re: Connection failed
what do you mean "wrong command"? I removed vnc from the start up programs, still it loads itself up anytime windows starts (I get two winvnc.exe-s and uvnc_service.exe in the list of running programs, when I press CTRL+ALT+Delete). I could not find any setting to correct this. I only want it to start when I run it. Could it be because it checks for available internet connection? I have to dial up before using internet.

Re: Connection failed
I solved the problem by deleting the Ultra VNC folder in the Program Files section. If others encounter the same problem, write me. Cheers.
