Vista UAC

Post by slamjam99 »

Would it be possible to include this into the new Single Click:

When the customer runs Single Click, the program changes this settings(below) to = 0. This will mean UAC will not prompt the box to ask for admin rights but run as Admin by default on anything that the support person runs e.g cmd.

Single Click could then put the setting back to 2 when the program closes.

This setting is taken into account immediately as I have tested this which seems to work when manually changing the setting. Single click would also have rights to do this as Vista prompts when you open Single Click.

Reg key location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/System/
Key:
ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin

This could be very useful.

Thanks
