Vista and Password Failed

Post by networkn »

Hi There!

PCH works on XP but on vista I am always getting password failed error messages. I have tried internally with no firewall and across the internet with port forwarding. I have tried to even tell it to specify the password but it will not allow it to connect.

Vista requires a password and needs to be less than 7 characters, now I have an issue whereby UAC stops my ability to remote control ?

Hi There!

Ok, will this be fixed in a later release?

Is it possible to simulate SCVNC whereby it asks me if I want to accept inbound connections, and is it possible to also :
1) Send/Receive Files from that PC
2) Have the vnc viewer part always accepting connections rather than being started each time
3) There is a noticeable drop in quality compared to VNC? Everything looks squashed and squeezed even in full screen mode.

don't know would be fixed to next update

1) like me, I boring to see pop up for allow or deny, maybe an option checkbox for allow /deny incoming connection pop up to viewer.

2) already available with keyboard Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, file transfer GUI, later.

3) Yes, many complaint about this (me too) and there not yet update.
the answer is acceptable for remote support (not us mind) and do not want break commercial product use almost same source code realtime and perfect image quality.
