UltraVNC SC with NTL Account

Hi,

I have an ntl account (2mb). I have recently tried to set up the UltraVNC SingleClick Program to enable me to help out family members with their PC problems. I have chosen port 5500 within the singleclick file. I used a standard webpage to get my static IP address and then entered this in the usual way inthe SC text file. Something like

-connect 12.34.56.789::5500 -noregistry

However I have emailed the SC program to friends to try and the connection does not come through to my PC. I am running the UltraVNC in Listen mode for port 5500.

I have been informed that I cannot use SC with my NTL account due to the ntl router supplied not being able to forward port 5500. Is this true and if not can anyone tell me how to get the program working.

I should have mentioned that the ntl router supplied is connected to a Buffalo WYR-G54 which I connect to Wirelessly.
