trying to get the repeater working on my PC

Hi

Basically I'm a LAN, so I created a server using my public ip address and put this in the host field, I then added the pors 5901 for the listen port viewer and 5500 for the listen port server, clicked on test, but I get a "failed message" I've port the same port numbers in the fields where they should be in the repeater settings. also I've added my public ip address to my firewall which is zone alaram

But no joy, any ideas?

have to be able to get those ports open and seen by the internet
A good check to see if they are functioning is www.grc.com look for the sheilds up test. If any of the needed ports say stealth it will not work..

so 5500 is closed and this needs to be open, what other ports need to be open for this to work?
