you have to be able to install it as a service so that maynot be an option but you can setup a repeater on the edge of your network..:)

I'm curious howto make the repeater a service. I tried using the srvinst.exe program and just got timed out errors when trying to start it. I even changed the user it starts as to a domain admin with the same results. How do you guys run your own repeaters and not have to manually start them each time the machine reboots?

thanks

This is from memory so I could be wrong, but at a command prompt:

Code: Select all

phw_repeater -install

Mattice should be correct

name of the repeter.exe -install

That is the correct command switch for installation of the repeater
