SC Encryption Error

I'm having issues connecting via SC with Encryption. I can connect fine without encyrption, so obviously I'm missing something simple, I just can't pinpoint it.

Errors I get on the PC listening with the viewer after trying to connect with SC using encryption.

Error 1
"The plugin cannot be loaded. Please check it's integrity"

Error 2
"Connection Failed -- Invalid Protocol"
"Possible Causes"
"--You've forgotten to select a DSMPlugin and the server uses a DSMPlugin"
"--Viewer and Server are not compatible (they use different RFB Protocols)"


Specifics on how I've got everything setup and running

Viewer listening on 'TECH' PC (port 5500)

Started listener via Run:"vncviewer -listen -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm"

Ran helpdesk.exe from 'LAPTOP' PC and selected the connection using encryption

Contents of helpdesk.exe

rc4.key (copied directly from 'TECH' PC to ensure the same key used)


Inside the helpdesk.txt the following two [HOSTS] are built as follows (I x'd out the IP's for security reasons but the IP is built properly in the helpdesk.txt)

[HOST]
WSC Tech support
-connect xx.xx.xx.xx:5500 -noregistry

[HOST]
WSC Tech support with 128bit encryption
-plugin -connect xx.xx.xx.xx:5500 -noregistry

Any ideas?? Wouldn't be the first time I missed something glaringly obvious so I appreciate all feedback.

Please verify if you had extra space between the parameters when starting the viewer.

e.g. "vncviewer -listen -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" --OK
"vncviewer -listen -dsmplugin{Space}{Space} MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" -- No Good, because there two space between "-dsmplugin" & "MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm"

I'm 95% certain that it's only a single space, but I can't confirm until Monday when I get back to the office.

Will repost affirmation on Monday (one way or the other) after further testing.
