customizing viewer .exe

I'm trying to customize the viewer .exe for helpdesk functions. I've been using the ResHack to make a few changes to the .exe. When the viewer first starts up, the default selection is Direct Connection. I want the default selection to be Repeater with the repeater options active and not grayed out. Is there any way to accomplish this?
