UltraVNC 1.2.0.6
Access via UltraVNC to Windows Server 2008, "save connection" (including password).
Next time, password prompt is shown again
This only happens with Windows Server, working as expected in Win7. 1.2.0.5 worked as expected on Win Server also.
Thanks

Re: Windows Server asking for password even when it was save
Running as service and using a desktop with a domain account sometimes fail with permission denied.
workaround
1) use the local admin as desktop user
2) stop service and manual start winvnc
3) use uvnc_settings.exe to change the password
4) copy winvnc.exe to a temp folder with full access, set settings and copy the ultravnc.ini back to the "program files\.."

Re: Windows Server asking for password even when it was save
Thanks a lot.
I´ve posted two topics today, and they're different issues. Let me explain better this one.
On Windows Server 1.2.0.6 works fine, saves the server password when changed, etc but _remote viewer_ keeps asking for password even when launched from a saved "with password" .VNC file.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Update 1.2.0.5 to 1.2.0.6 server on Windows Server
2) Connect from a remote (LAN) PC to server
3) Enter the correct password (viewer)
4) Right click on UVNC viewer title bar, choose "Save connection info as ..."
5) Confirm filename, and answer "yes" to "Do you want to save the password in this file?"
6) Double click on just saved .VNC file. It should go directly to server desktop (no password prompt), but asks for password even when it's saved.
