Fullscreen Issues on multiple screen

Post by tardyp »

I'm always using ultravnc in fullscreen mode, as a way to optimize workflow.
Sometimes using windows with the two screens, sometimes, one screen windows, one screen linux.

I'm very happy with uvnc, which is the most stable and featured vnc client I could find.

There are still some tiny annoyances.

- uVNC window is topmost when fullscreen. I don't see exactly the point of doing it. This means you have to minify VNC when you want to use your second screen with windows apps.

- uVNC has issues to find the correct screen where to full screen. Often when switching hide toolbar button, the window changes screen, and go to mainscreen. I have to minimize + unminimize to let it go back to second screen.

uVNC window is topmost when fullscreen.
Reason:
The local toolbar, even when you hide it has the ontop function.
If the viewer is not ontop, the toolbar is and hide the remote one.
