incompatibility with notebook video driver

Post by burzek »

Hi,

I have a notebook that uses Video Chip GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M Bios Version 5.67.32.14.08
I have xp pro 32 bit installed.

Until (including) version 1.0.9.6.2 , I had no problems using uvnc with the mirror video driver.

When using 1.1.x versions ; if mirror video is not used the screen colors are ok ; if mirror video driver is used, the screen is painted in green colors. You can see the difference in image link below.

I can not use 1.1.9x , so going back to 1.0.9.6.2

I hope you can solve this error.
Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply.

I use windows client on windows 7 , latest vncviewer , tried using "auto" "medium" , ZRLE or tight encoder in full color, 256 colors , 64 colors no different always there is greenish layer on all colors when mirror driver is used.

Any suggestions?

This looks like the same as the problem i'm having with my Hyper-V clients, so i'll post that info too.

colordept hyper-V systems: 16bit (can't change)
colordepth viewerpc: 32bit ( Windows 8.1, so can't change it )
Encoder: Hextile

I've openen a viewer on an XP and 2003 and they both get the same problem.

Ultravnc 1.1.9.3
