I am trying to setup chunkvnc, and everything is perfectly setup, the client connects fine, but when the connection is established, I am only greeted with a blue window, there is no video, I cannot see anything. On the other screen though, you can see the mouse is moving, so I am connected and controlling the screen, but I can only do so blindly.
Also, when I try to get more information, I see that the traffic for Bytes Received stays at 489 bytes and does not increase, even if I try a refresh.
Any ideas as to why this is not working? Should not be a firewall issue, right, because then I wouldnt even be able to establish a connection, right?
thanks for your help!

chunkviewer client window stays blue
Re: chunkviewer client window stays blue
Interesting....
I've seen this behavior when I connect to clients over a slow internet connection but usually the viewer will close after showing blue for a bit.
Could you give us more info about the client computer? OS?
Do you have the same trouble with other computers or is it just this one?

Re: chunkviewer client window stays blue
I'll confirm Chunk's comment about the slow link issue. I will periodically get the "blue screen" issue when
I'm using a slow wireless stick. For me, a disconnect and reconnect usually fixes it tho'.
With exactly the same software and repeater, I have never had the issue when using my
regular higher speed access.

Re: chunkviewer client window stays blue
An update.
I've recompiled ChunkVNC with the latest uVNC (1.1.9.3). Previously I had issues with connecting to clients with slow links or those using satellite for internet access. uVNC sometimes connected but didn't update my screen (even though the mouse moved on the client's computer) OR it simply connected and almost immediately disconnected. Sometimes it took 4 or 5 tries before I could fully connect.
So far (with 1.1.9.3) these issues seem to have disappeared. Perhaps the latest version is more tolerant of long ping times?

Re: chunkviewer client window stays blue
According to Rudi there was changes put in place to better handle high latency connections.
Glad to hear it worked!
