DSM Plugin Configuration

Hi,

I'm new to UltraVNC.

Question:
As Adam Welling mentions on his site:
"Installation and Setup

Download the SecureVNCPlugin.dsm and ensure your UltraVNC Viewer and UltraVNC Server applications are set to use it.

That is all!"

Is that really all?

I mean: Is the connection secured by these few steps or do I have to adjust more? If yes, what an how?

Yes, just copy the DSM file in the same folder as the UltraVNC Server and UltraVNC Viewer.

Then select the UltraVNC Server/Viewer options to use the Plugin.

You can configure the Plugin (Server options) but even without configuring the encryption is active.

Configure to activate special encryption options
- Replace VNC password (8-chars) by a longer
- Create a predefined key, UltraVNC Viewer needs a key copy to be able to connect
- Select the encryption bits
