Installing ChunkVNC 4.0.0 32 bit

Hi all.

Please, help me to install ChunkVNC, on instructions from the old version does not work.

1) I install D:\install\ChunkVNCRemoteSupport_Install_32_4.0.0.exe
2) run repeater
2) press "click me"
3) give host name to repeater
4) forwarded ports 5900, 5500 in my router to 192.168.1.2

What files i must give to another computer to connect there? In version 3.3.1 it was one file "instantsupport.exe", here this file is absent. Help please.

That version is not a release by me but a fork from another developer, I would suggest you ask your question in his thread.

OK, thanks, your last version is 3.3.1?

When i install your version, after press "compile" the window of compiler is hanging, in "viewer" folder is absent instantsupport.exe. Operation system is Win7, under WinXP all work. What can i do with this?

Tried to compile 3.3.1 ver. on XP, all OK, why in win7 don't work, i don't know.

Interesting that it wouldn't work for you, my development machine is Win7 64bit and I test the installer on XP, Vista and 7.

I'm not sure what you mean here could you explain further?


When you hit compile you first should see the UltraVNC settings window pop up quickly and get filled with information, then the compiler will open your temporary folder with InstantSupport.exe and a folder with ChunkViewer.

Are you running an UltraVNC server on the machine you are trying to compile with? If so try shutting that down before compiling.

Yes, i mistake, it's not open "temp" folder with "ChunkVNC_Compiled" folder. UltraVNC server is not run, when i try to compile files.
