cad.exe, sas.dll, what is needed with 1.1.7?

cad.exe, sas.dll, what is elementary needed with 1.1.7 to send SAS?

(I only know setting the Software SAS policy within the registry is mandatory)

Before Vista no extra software as needed
Vista require sas.dll
WIN7 >= doesn't require extra software, sas.dll is part of the OS

I need to check, but cad.exe is only used on Vista when sas.dll doesn't exist.

It's OK, you don't haver to look. We'll ship sas.dll. If SAS is not working it's not working... doesn't matter...

sas.dll is only needed on Vista.
Win7 WIN8 have the sas.dll as part of the OS.

ok is sas.dll the same as w8hook.dll we need to launch addon package on Windows vista system to have this sas.dll

sas.dll is responsible for sending ctrl-alt-del ( on Vista)
w8hook.dll is win8 only ( it replace the mirror driver by adding direct video access)
