ultraVNC problem with Windows 8 UAC

Hello guys

(sorry for my english, it´s not my native language at all)
We have a decent problem with ultraVNC on windows 8 based systems and UAC.

Here´s the problem: I am system administrator and usually fix problems remotely.
In most cases, we use configured uVNC (with VPN and OTP secure - not important) and it is working well on Win 7 or XP based systems, MAC OS too.
Problem is, If I log in to remote pc as administrator, I can control the PC, doing everything and connection is stable, but If I want to do something as administrator, connection fail in that moment and all we can do is reconnect and continue (UAC, for example, change some system seetings, advanced properties etc..)

Win7, MAC OS and XP wokr well with no problems at all.

Anybody experienced this issue? Googled whole day and noting interesting, or no problem.
Used 1.1.8.0 with addons.

UAC can only be handled if winvnc is running as service.
( This is how MS made UAC)

uvnc is always running as the service when we´re experiencing this problem.

What is the problem ?
Viewer disconnect when UAC popup ?
If you reconnect the viewer do you see the UAC popup

Try perhaps to set the viewer option "reconnect attemps" to 3.

exactly, when UAC popup appears - VNC is automatically down, after recconect I see and can type in password as admin to UAC window.

I don´t think that "reconnect attemps" affecth this one, but thank for your reply, now you know what is the problem.

There is a program but is SC-related and doesnt work as a "service"

Try the "beginner" program...it only works on 1 port (5500)...
I wrote it quite a while ago with certain functions that start as soon as Windows starts ( maybe it will help ). For starters, disable UAC, then execute RAC with the "Connect with Restart"-button...IF it doesn't work, I'll see if i can get hold of a Win 8 PC and try "altering" my code as i haven't tried this proggie on Win 8 as yet

I WOULD RECOMMEND USING IT IN A lan ENVIRONMENT FIRST...JUST TO TEST...
PS: Just make a backup of your registry for "in-case"!!
