I need to improve the screen resolution quality for a LAN based environment.
I attempted to change the Quality parameter inside the chunkviewer.ini file with no success.
Where should I specify a better quality for a LAN environment? What values should I use?

There's a "Connection options" button on the UltraVNC viewer toolbar.

I made some tests with no results.
Is there any ChunkVNC specific way to set quality?

Sorry I don't know what to tell you... I just tested it myself using both the chunkviewer.ini file and the connection options button on the toolbar and it changes just fine.

Could you give me more info on what needs to be "improved" for the LAN environment?

Keep in mind that ChunkVNC utilizes the repeater which adds a bit of lag.
If you require high speed in a LAN environment it's best to install UltraVNC on each machine with the optional mirror driver and make a direct connection.

Hi Marius

In case you still interested, find the chunkvnc.ini in the Source\UltraVNC folder and change the Quality to something like 6 (or higher. I don't know what the max is). It worked for me.

The quality parameters are outlined in the FAQ:
https://forum.ultravnc.net/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=17163

Can I change the default Viewer quality level?
Yes, you can adjust the quality after compiling in the Viewer\Bin\chunkviewer.ini file, look for Quality=3
1: Auto
2: LAN
3: Medium
4: Modem
5: Slow
7: Ultra
